Each year, the Association for Rehabilitation, Research, Policy and Education celebrates individuals that have exemplified the mission of the Association through service, education, research and/or impact to the rehabilitation field. ARRPE members (student or professional) can self-nominate or nominate a student or colleague who meets the criteria for the awards described below:
Educator Award
This award is presented to a rehabilitation educator, tenure-line or teaching/clinical faculty, who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to teaching, advising, mentoring, and development of rehabilitation students at any level (undergraduate or graduate).
Service Award
This award is presented to a rehabilitation professional (educator, researcher, clinician, policy maker or other rehabilitation professional) who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to service, outreach, and/or advocacy in rehabilitation.
Early Career Award
This award is presented to a rehabilitation faculty member whose teaching, scholarship, and other commitments to the rehabilitation community demonstrate a promising career in rehabilitation leadership.
Graduate Student Award
This award is presented to a graduate student in rehabilitation or related educational studies, either at the master or doctoral level, whose emerging research demonstrates promise as a future researcher, educator, and/or leader in rehabilitation.
Research Award
This award is presented to a person (or team of researchers) whose recent contributions (within the last three years) to the rehabilitation and/or disability scholarship are worthy of recognition for their impact on the field.

Nominations for the 2024-25 will be accepted until Jan. 15, 2025, and may be submitted through our online portal (PDF files only). Recipients will be honored at the 2025 ARRPE Conference in Savannah, Georgia, in February.
