ARRPE Student Webinar Series Launch

Kicking off on October 21, 2026, at noon central the ARRPE Student Webinar Series will bring together students and leaders in the field to explore topics related to professional development, career exploration, and the rehabilitation landscape, catering to all emerging professionals.

Taking place every second Tuesday of the month, sessions will run throughout the Fall 2026 semester and are open to all students, including those who are not currently ARRPE Members.


Join the ARRPE Student Leadership Committee on Tuesday, October 21 at noon Central for our inaugural webinar, "Career Paths in Rehabilitation Counseling: Finding Your Professional Niche," featuring Dr. Megan Baumunk, Vice Chair of CRCC! Students and emerging professionals are invited to explore the many directions a rehabilitation counseling career can take.

Megan Baumunk, PhD, CRC, CVE, LPC

Megan Baumunk, PhD, CRC, CVE, LPC, is Teaching Faculty and Clinical Coordinator for the Rehabilitation Psychology graduate programs at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She develops and maintains community partnerships, matches graduate trainees with practicum and internship sites, and supports students’ clinical and professional development throughout their fieldwork.

Dr. Baumunk earned her MS in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and PhD in Rehabilitation Counselor Education from UW–Madison. Her clinical and research interests include disability adjustment, couples navigating disability, grief and loss, and clinical supervision.

Dr. Baumunk serves as Vice Chair of the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification Board of Directors and is a board member of the UW–Madison chapter of Phi Kappa Phi. She is also the founder of Unwind Rehabilitation Counseling; a private practice focused on disability adjustment for individuals and couples and holistic services for folx with disabilities. Across her clinical, academic, and professional leadership roles, her work emphasizes strengthening the rehabilitation counseling profession, advancing professional identity and visibility, and preparing the next generation of rehabilitation counselors.
