Yongsu Song is a current Ph.D. candidate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison whose research focuses on psychosocial adaptation for people with substance use disorder (SUD) and serious mental illness. He has published 13 peer-reviewed articles and has an additional five under review and over a dozen other papers in progress. His advisor and nominator describes him as having demonstrated leadership in his scholarship, teaching and advocacy during his time as a doctoral student.
